A large brown tabby tom padded acrossthe clearing with a vole in his mouth. He was planning on eating his dinner alone. Shadowstreak sat down in the branches of a large pine. he looked down as he noticed someone climbing the tree after him. He turned his head to see who was interrupting his mid-day meal. "can I ever get any peace and quiet to myself?" he growled.

A red tabby she-cat with stunning ice blue eyes smiled at him. "Now is that anyway to talk to your deputy?" she asked her azure eyes flashing as she sat at the base of the branch. A light breeze stirred her short, striped fur

Shadowstreak shrugged, "Ashenstar is my sister, knowing her she can always remove you from your position so yes. it is." He meowed then turned back t his prey, smugly.

Crimsonice rolled her azure eyes "She could but why would she?" the she-cat snapped before leaping out of the tree and landing gracefully on the ground with her tail in the air.

"You didnt have to leave..." he whispered just enough so she could here. Sure he acted like he didnt like company, but really, he hated being lonely.

Crimsonice flicked her ears as she turned to gaze at the tabby tom. She bunched her muscles together and jumped on the branch above him. She sat and licked a paw and drwe it over her ears and face.

"so whats up," Shadowstreak asked before taking a small munch from his vole. He glanced up at the she-cat a shiver passing through him.

Crimsonice yawned before answering him "Nothing really, just waiting to take the sunhigh patrol out." She met his gaze for a brief second before looking away.

"Can i join your patrol? Thees nothing to do around camp." he asked with slight curiousity, "Or would you rather join me for lunch?" he teased his green eyes flashing.

Crimsonice smirked "If you wish you can come" she meowed as she reached down to flick his ears with her tail, her azure eyes glitterd in the bright sun

Shadowstreak growled, and shook her tail off. "Dont be so smug." he mumbled. He finished his vole and jumped down from the tree, "So are we going or not?"

He rolled his green eyes. "Im surprised my sister chose youas deputy. For someone with that kind of nature, they should be putting on herbs." he teased laugher glittered his eyes.
